We have opportunities for both guys and girls. Looking for people interested in sharing skateboarding with others – via instructing, tabling, photography, filming, set-up / clean-up, and more.

SEATTLE Opportunities

Volunteer Instructor: Do you love skateboarding, like working with kids and want to give back to your community? Become a a volunteer skateboarding instructor with Skate Like A Girl and help teach kids how to shred! Training provided.

Website Administrator/Developer:

Do you have experience with using WordPress in creating websites and want to put it to good use? Looking for someone to spend 1-5 hours a week to maintain our website, collaborate with board members to update web content, and assist with web design.

On-line Marketing Outreach Volunteer:

Help spread the word about what we do! Manage and moderate Facebook and Twitter postings. Help expand our on-line community by engaging us with other social networking media and websites. Help manage our newsletter.

Skate Like a Girl Volunteer Coordinator:

Looking for someone to spend 1-5 hours a week to schedule, send reminders, and general coordinating with Seattle area volunteers. This person must be friendly, organized and a good communicator.

Human Resources Volunteer:

Skate Like a Girl is currently volunteer staffed and looking to transition to paid staff. We are looking for a volunteer that specializes in human resources that can help us make that transition. We wish to expand a youth employment program, and need someone familiar with administering paperwork for minors. Looking for someone that can commit to working with the board to establish an initial HR process, and provide suggestions for future steps as the organization grows.
